VR Evolution: Introducing Our Very Own VR Leagues Platform

In collaboration with SynthesisVR, VREsports.com will offer a platform for both professional and casual VR Esports players, called VR Evolution!

Aside from the obvious offer such as events, tournaments and customizable user accounts, here’s a couple of features our VR League platform will offer:

  • Match Making Ranking & divisions with their own leagues
  • Livestreams
  • Team Finder
  • Personal dashboard with player history, game statistics and health tracking (e.g. calories burnt)

This platform will be tailored to three main audiences:
– Firstly and foremost, we offer the home-player an accessible platform to find peers to play and train with.
– Secondly, even people who don’t have a VR headset themselves, can still be a part of our VR Evolution league by going to a nearby location based VR center, as we will be collaborating closely with these entrepreneurs. So called ‘VR Arcades’ who are part of our platform allow their guests to participate both in online and offline matches and leagues.
– Finally, we aim to partner with bigger brands to host live events our players can qualify for.

The website www.VREvolution.gg is in development and is expected to launch before the end of 2020. Stay tuned on VREsports.com, follow us on social media and join our Discord channel!

We are looking for community leaders!

Wouter van den Bijgaart
Even before the first consumer VR headset was introduced, Wouter had already fallen in love with VR and its wide-ranging potential. In 2016, he started his VR Entertainment company, The VR Room, with only 2 headsets in the trunk of his car. In 4 years time, the company has grown to a team of 40 across three venues in the Netherlands, as well as Reality On Demand Studios, a development studio with 8 VR developers.
